Renée Conte in realtà è il mio nome d’arte. Arte… si fa per dire, ovviamente, ma preferisco usare questo termine piuttosto che “pseudonimo”, è più… artistico 😊 .
Uso il nome Renée perché gli amici mi chiamano così, Conte perché è il cognome acquisito con il matrimonio e mi piace.
Ho sempre lavorato mondo della comunicazione: radio, tv, agenzie di pubblicità e case di produzione audio-video. Tuttora realizzo podcast e radio show, ma la mia passione è sempre stata la lettura e ancora di più la scrittura, perché mi piace condividere pensieri, esperienze e fantasie con gli amici che vorranno leggermi.
Mi appassionano le storie di vita comune, mi piace osservare i comportamenti delle persone con le quali mi relaziono tutti i giorni o incontro per caso, mi piace ascoltare quello che hanno da dire, anche se non sempre condivido il loro pensiero. Il mondo è popolato da individui che hanno un’infinità di sfumature nella personalità e nel comportamento, e anche se è diverso dal mio non significa che sia migliore o peggiore, è solo diverso.
Prendo qualche spunto di riflessione proprio dai loro atteggiamenti, dai loro punti di vista e creo le mie storie, dando vita a personaggi immaginari che colloco in un mondo il più possibile reale, con sentimenti reali, situazioni reali, problemi reali, ma anche soddisfazioni e gioie reali, o perlomeno realistiche.
E dato che per natura sono ottimista, amo le storie a lieto fine, di tragedie e drammi ne vediamo e viviamo fin troppi, perciò scrivo per concedere qualche ora di spazio alla fantasia, la mia e di chi mi leggerà, perché non c’è nulla di sbagliato nel sognare e sperare che tutto andrà bene, che domani sarà migliore di oggi.
Renée Conte is actually my pseudonym; Renée because that’s what my friends call me, Conte because it’s the surname I acquired when I got married and I like it.
I was born and live in Padua, Italy, with my husband, Emanuele, and a dog named Vasco.
I have always worked in the world of communication: radio, television, advertising agencies, and audio-video production companies. I still produce podcasts and radio shows, but my passion has always been reading and, even more so, writing, because I like to share my thoughts, experiences, and fantasies with friends who want to read my work.
I am fascinated by stories of everyday life. I like to observe the behaviour of the people I interact with every day or meet by chance. I like to listen to what they have to say, even if I don’t always agree with their thoughts. The world is populated by individuals with an infinite variety of personalities and behaviours, and even if they are different from mine, that doesn’t mean they are better or worse, just different.
I take some inspiration from their attitudes and points of view and create my own stories, bringing to life imaginary characters that I place in a world that is as real as possible, with real feelings, real situations, real problems, but also real, or at least realistic, satisfactions and joys.
I am an optimistic person and I love stories with happy endings, since we see and experience enough tragedies and dramas, so I write to give a few hours of space to my imagination and that of my readers, because there is nothing wrong with dreaming and hoping that everything will be fine, that tomorrow will be better than today.
